Editorial Standards

Short explanations. Visible evidence.

TickerCue selects stories for significance, verifiability, timeliness and coverage of the interests offered in the product. Publication requires explicit editorial approval.

Sources before scripts

Company filings, official announcements, regulators, exchanges and other primary material come first. Established reporting can add context or independent confirmation. Market-data evidence is kept separate from confirmation of the underlying event.

Traceable claims

Published stories retain named source links and a defined information cutoff. Important numeric claims should be traceable to the supporting source, period, unit and accounting or market-data basis.

Fact, interpretation and risk

Reported facts, editorial interpretation, material risks, uncertainty and future watch items remain distinguishable. TickerCue does not disguise an inference as a reported fact or manufacture false balance.

Ticker discipline

  • Every story identifies relevant public tickers or explicitly states that no direct ticker applies.
  • A related ticker is context, not evidence that the story caused a price move.
  • Story-time movements remain frozen to their approved period and timestamp.
  • Missing market data is shown as unavailable, never as a fabricated zero.

AI and synthetic media

AI may assist research organization, drafting and presentation. Synthetic presenters are labelled. AI does not publish autonomously, and presenter style cannot change the approved fact base or turn relevance into a personalized recommendation.

Versioned publication

Sources, facts, ticker observations, script, captions and prepared render are tied to the approved story version. A material error produces a correction, clarification, replacement or withdrawal rather than a silent edit of the historical record.
